AGENDAS

Cada año dibujo las portadas y dibujos interiores de las agendas escolares de la editorial CCS, una de primaria y otra de secundaria. De hecho ahora mismo estoy con las del año que viene.

Each year, I design the covers and interior drawings of the school diaries from publisher CCS, for primary and secondary school. In fact, right now I am designing the next year's diaries.
Estas son las agendas de primaria del curso 2006-2007 y 2007-2008.

Those are the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 primary school diaries.

SIRENA

Esto lo dibujé hace unos años. Es una especie de homenaje a los pezones que dibujaba Carlos Giménez. De crio me encantaban. Ahora me gustan todos.

This is what I drew a few years ago. It is a sort of tribute to the nipples that Carlos Gimenez drew. I loved them when I was a child. Now I like them all.

SESENTA y 9

Estas tiras aparecieron de manera esporádica en el diario La Opinión, como relleno en la sección sobre cómic, "Viñetas Mágicas", de la mano de Paco Olivares.

These strips appeared in a sporadic way in the newspaper La Opinion, as filler in the comics section, "Magic Panels" in the hands of Paco Olivares.





La colaboración duró poco. Esta ultima no se publicó...
Tengo que aprender que en los periódicos no se pueden decir vulgaridades....

CAPPONE

De hace unos años también es esta ilu de Alex Cappone, personaje que solía utilizar en la páginas de "El tio Saín"... Qué tiempos aquellos.
También es un poco homenaje a uno de mis dibujantes favoritos, el gran Franquin.

From a few years ago is also this ilu of Alex Cappone, character I used in the pages of "El tio Saín" ... Those were the days!
It's also a little homage to one of my favorite designers, the great Franquin.

MASCOTA CARNAVALERA

La comparsa y grupo coreográfico infantil "Caramba", me encargó que le diseñara una mascota. Este caballito de mar fue el resultado. De esto hace unos 5 ó 6 años.

The extra child and choreographic group "Caramba" ask me to design a mascot. This sea horse was the result. It was about 5 or 6 years.

LOS VERDES

Esto fué un dibujillo que preparé para el tríptico de propaganda electoral de Los Verdes en las elecciones locales de Cartagena del 2003. Al final se publicó en bitono, por supuesto, verde y blanco.

This was an ilustration I did for the three-page leaflet of electoral propaganda of the Greens in local elections in Cartagena 2003. At the end it was published in two tone, of course, green and white.

COMENZAMOS...

No se por donde empezar ni el rumbo que le voy a dar a este blog... Pero bueno, para romper algo de hielo voy a colocar este cartel que hice, hace unos años, para las fiestas de Los Dolores en Cartagena...

... Al final quedó asi.
No se, creo que rompí un poco con la tendencia de estilo de cartel que había habido hasta ese momento.... Esto fue en el 2003.
Es probable que a muchos no le gustara, pero yo creo que fue un poco como un soplo de aire fresco..., que duró poco...
... De hecho 2 años después me volvieron a encargar que hiciera el cartel. Pero una vez presentado me contaron mil y una excusas acerca de la hija de alguien, que había hecho un dibujico de la iglesia y que le hacía mucha ilusión que se usara de cartel para las fiestas de ese año y qué vamos a hacer si la ilusión de las personas es lo primero...
Vamos, que me quedé con el cartel hecho y dos palmos de narices. Por amistad con determinadas personas me callé y lo dejé estar... Pero ya no más.
Me volvieron a llamar al año siguiente y ya les dije que se olvidaran...
Afortunadamente todavía puedo elegir...

In the end it was like that.
Maybe I broke the advertising poster tendency that had been so far .... This was in 2003.

So, I stayed with the poster done and two spans of noses. For friendship with certain people I kept quiet and I let it be ...But no more.
They call me again the next year and I told them to be forgotten any more...
Luckily I can still choose ...
